Being located just 20 km away from Marmaris means that there are quite a few transportation options you can take advantage of to get to Turunc.


Alternatively, you can go ahead and explore the many tour packages available for Turunc. These are usually all-inclusive, with transfers to and from your hotel, and also include a lot of fun activities for you to do while you’re there.


As most holidayers go to Turunc either directly from Marmaris or by transfer, we’ve listed all the ways you can get to Turunc from there.


But, if you’re planning to get to Turunc from Bodrum or Fethiye, or any other nearby holiday town, you can check out your town’s daily bus routes, as all the nearby towns have daily routes to and from Turunc.

Using Public Transport


The local 'dolmuş', a public minibus service, is a convenient and affordable way to reach Turunc from Marmaris or Icmeler.


These minibuses leave every 10 minutes during the peak season and the ride takes about 40 minutes, treating you to beautiful views of the bay along the way. Dolmus fares aren’t the most comfortable, but you’ll get there quickly and without having to wait to take off.


Getting to Turunc By Car


Renting a car is another great option, especially if you'd like to explore the region at your own pace. Many holidayers opt for car rentals for the extra convenience and the ability to easily travel around the region without the constraints of public transportation.


Rent-a-car services can be found at the Main Streets of all nearby holiday towns, as well as at the airport.


The journey from Marmaris to Turunc by car only takes about 30 minutes. However, please note that the serpentine mountain roads can be a bit challenging if you're not a confident driver.
